About
Education
I hold a B.A. in Cinema & Television from Anadolu University (2023) and I am completing an M.A. in Visual Communication Design & Media at Marmara University in Istanbul. My graduate coursework focuses on the role of AI in creative production—how generative methods can support pre-production, look development, and post.
International exchange programs in Germany and Croatia broadened my understanding of production cultures. At Hochschule RheinMain (Wiesbaden) I studied audio, video, and sound production; in Croatia I worked inside a production company environment. Film camps across Turkey trained me to develop, plan, and execute short projects under tight schedules.
Work
I currently serve as one of two leads of the AI Team at Hacıyatmaz AI in Istanbul. I design and maintain end-to-end pipelines that combine generative tools with established film and motion-design practice. My scope includes brief translation, look development, prompt strategy, shot planning, iterative tests, compositing, edit supervision, delivery to spec, and documentation for reproducibility.
Prior work spans motion design and editing across commercial, social, and educational formats. Projects include weekly promo systems, channel packages for creators, and motion graphics for a children’s instrument book developed with the Presidential Symphony Orchestra of Turkey (QR-linked animations synchronized to audio). Freelance and university projects kept me active on set and in the edit room, building reliable habits around version control, naming, and smooth team handoffs.
Purpose & Approach
My aim is to pair creative intention with technical rigor. I keep the process brief-led and measurable: define goals, prototype early, iterate with clear checkpoints, and deliver on time. Generative AI is integrated where it adds value; classical craft anchors the result.
Music and performance shape how I cut and animate. Years of bass and ongoing drum study inform rhythm, timing, and structure on the timeline; theatre experience supports direction, collaboration, and clear communication on set. I prioritize clarity, reproducibility, and dependable schedules, so the final work is not only visually strong but also production-ready and easy to maintain.
